LAW IMPROVING TARGETED ADMISSION AND EDUCATION

1) TRANSPARENCY.

All offers for employer-sponsored study will be public. Every applicant will be able to find information about support during study, social guarantees, payments during employment, and the employer with whom an employment contract will subsequently be signed. Students on these programmes will have a clear understanding of their prospects after graduation.

2) ACCESSIBILITY.

A single educational platform will be created. All offers from employers will be posted on it and used to determine the number of state-funded places and quotas for employer-sponsored study. Any applicant will be able to compete for each sponsored place and view test assignments and scores.

3) SUPPORT MEASURES.

The sponsor of targeted education must support students during study, for example with housing, a guarantee of subsequent employment and payments during employment.

4) THE STUDENT'S OBLIGATIONS.

Students under sponsored-education agreements will be required to work for the employer with whom they signed the agreement, in accordance with their qualification, for at least three and no more than five years. This will help address staff shortages in the regions.
