3 June 2021. Tenth international academic and practical conference at the Russian State University of Justice.
The programme lists Natalya Vysotskaya among discussion participants at Round Table No. 4 on the balance of public and private interests in bankruptcy.
On 22 December 2021, an online thematic conference at Moscow State University’s Faculty of Law addressed psychological and legal support for family disputes resolved in court.
The keynote report was delivered by Natalya Konstantinovna Kharitonova, professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences and head of the Civil Proceedings Expert Examination Department at the V. P. Serbsky National Medical Research Centre for Psychiatry and Narcology.
Natalya Konstantinovna discussed the problems of combined psychological and psychiatric expert examinations in court disputes over children's upbringing, conducted at the V. P. Serbsky Centre since 2004. Our guest described the nuances of examinations involving high-conflict families and highlighted psychologists' substantial role in this type of assessment. Their tasks include, in particular, establishing children's attachment to their parents, identifying parents' true attitudes towards their children, and determining whether a child has been psychologically influenced by the parent with whom they live. N. K. Kharitonova expressed hope for further integrated development of research into parent–child relationships through joint efforts by researchers and practitioners, involving both lawyers and experts from other disciplines, particularly linguists.
