Minimum wage. Russia's minimum wage has been raised to RUB 13,890 per month, compared with RUB 12,792 last year.
Sick leave. The maximum benefit for one sick-leave day in 2022 is 2,572.6 rubles. For example, two weeks of sick leave with more than 8 years’ employment service pays 36,016.4 rubles before personal income tax.
Maternity benefit. From 1 January 2022, the minimum amount per day of maternity leave is 456.66 rubles and the maximum 2,572.6 rubles. Thus, for 140 days of pregnancy and childbirth leave starting in the new year, the payment can range from 63,932 to 360,164 rubles. In 2021 these amounts were 58,878 and 340,795 rubles respectively.
Subsistence minimum. This has also risen. Nationwide, it is RUB 12,654 per capita, RUB 13,793 for the working-age population, RUB 10,882 for pensioners and RUB 12,274 for children.
Unemployment benefit. For 2022, the maximum unemployment benefit increased to 12,792 rubles, compared with 12,130 rubles in 2021.
Maternity capital. It was previously indexed in January. From the new year, it will increase in February based on actual, not forecast, inflation. Indexation will exceed the announced 4%.
