State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said this during the government’s report to the Duma.
"There is a paradox today: when tragedy strikes a family, parents die or something else happens, relatives—grandparents and other family members—cannot keep the child with priority. The child is effectively removed from the family," Vyacheslav Volodin said.
“This is the so-called juvenile justice imposed on us by adversaries who have now shown their true face,” the State Duma Chairman added.
He noted that the State Duma is considering a bill that will correct this situation.
Mikhail Mishustin assured that the Government would participate in this work.
