This means volunteers in this field will receive all support measures available to volunteers. For example, they will be eligible for payment or reimbursement of certain expenses necessary for their volunteer activities.
Under Presidential Decree No. 809 of 9 November 2022, "traditional values are moral guidelines shaping Russian citizens' worldview, passed down through generations, underpinning nationwide civic identity and the country's shared cultural space, strengthening civic unity, and finding a unique, distinctive expression in the spiritual, historical and cultural development of Russia's multinational people".
They include human life, dignity, rights and freedoms; patriotism and civic responsibility; service to the Fatherland and responsibility for its future; high moral ideals; a strong family; constructive work; the priority of spiritual over material values; humanism, compassion, justice, collectivism, mutual assistance and mutual respect; historical memory and continuity between generations; and the unity of Russia’s peoples.
