HOW TO RECEIVE KINDERGARTEN COMPENSATION
1. WHICH FEES CAN BE REIMBURSED?
Municipal kindergartens do not charge for preschool education, but parents pay a monthly fee for supervision and care. It may be recalculated if the child was absent due to illness. Part of the fee may also be returned as compensation.
2. MINIMUM COMPENSATION AMOUNT
20% for the first child.
50% for the second child:
70% for the third and subsequent children.

3. ARE THERE OTHER CONDITIONS?
The Law on Education sets the minimum compensation. Regions may impose additional eligibility conditions, for example limiting it to large or low-income families. Contact your local administration to find out the rules in your region.
4. HOW TO APPLY
One parent must apply to the kindergarten, MFC or social protection office.
