‘President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin instructed that a solution to this issue be found. Thanks to him, more than 730,000 families will receive additional support,’ Vyacheslav Volodin said.
‘Importantly, the law will take effect immediately upon publication, allowing eligible families to use the payment this summer, during holidays or while preparing children for school,’ the Speaker stressed.
Vyacheslav Volodin also said that, under the adopted law, ‘from 1 January 2025, pensioners aged 80 and over and people with Group I disabilities will receive an additional 1,200 rubles every month alongside their pension. No application will be required; the payment will be awarded automatically’.
