The relevant bill has been submitted to the State Duma.
If adopted, the initiative will reduce consideration of these requests from ten to five working days, helping parents use their state support sooner.
Under the initiative, if a certificate holder loses entitlement to additional state support, successors such as the father or children will receive it without submitting further applications.
Remember that maternity capital can be spent on: housing; children’s education; monthly payments for a child under three if the family has a low income; a one-off payment of the balance if it does not exceed 10,000 rubles; goods and services for children with disabilities; or a parent’s funded pension.
