Today we will consider several bills aimed at protecting children, families and traditional values.

To protect children from potential dangers, we are banning adoption or guardianship by citizens of foreign countries where changing sex is permitted.

The West's policy towards children is harmful. In ten European countries—Austria, Estonia, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Slovenia and Switzerland—there are no age restrictions on legally changing sex. Eight countries set a minimum age for minors: for example, 12 in Spain and 16 in Belgium.

Since 1993, foreigners have adopted 102,403 children from Russia.

It is vital to rule out any attempt at a possible change of sex by any means in adoption abroad.

To protect people from promotion of refusing to have children, the spread of destructive content on the internet, in the media, films and advertising must be restricted.

To achieve this, we are adding provisions to six existing laws that already prohibit propaganda of paedophilia, LGBT and gender reassignment.

This concerns protecting citizens, especially the younger generation, from media information that negatively affects personality development.

These bills are intended to protect people, their health and their safety.

Everything must be done to ensure new generations of our citizens grow up oriented towards traditional family values.
