An expanded meeting of the State Duma Council on children’s holidays and health recreation was held under the chairmanship of Vyacheslav Volodin.

Heads of the relevant State Duma committees, ministries and agencies took part in the discussion.

The Speaker of the State Duma believes the main cause of problems in children’s health holidays is the absence of a single, effective system for organizing them.

❗️ “Our task now is to discuss all the problems in this area and develop proposals that will form the basis for a framework bill on organising children’s holidays,” Vyacheslav Volodin said.

The State Duma Chairman emphasised that deputies will continue discussing the issue in autumn during Government Hour, inviting the Deputy Prime Minister responsible, relevant ministers and regional representatives.
