“A person gets up in the morning and buys a certificate at a private clinic. Yet the panels have no psychiatrists or psychologists—no one to assess their condition, because an agreement with the WHO was signed. Then they provide a document changing sex, surname, first name and patronymic,” State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said when discussing the initiative’s relevance.
Children are drawn into this practice to undergo hormone therapy, he added.
“This is flourishing in other countries now; as for Europe and the United States, it is nothing but sodomy,” the State Duma Chairman added.
To prevent this in our country, State Duma deputies prepared a bill banning a change of sex without surgery.
