Combating excessive foreign borrowings in Russian
Under the law, foreign borrowings may be used if there is no commonly used Russian equivalent.
Standards of modern literary Russian and permitted foreign borrowings will be recorded in normative dictionaries and reference books.
Work education in schools
Taking their age and psychophysical characteristics into account, pupils will participate in socially useful work included in the curriculum. Career guidance for schoolchildren is introduced as a concept. The silver medal will return alongside the gold medal. The subject Fundamentals of Life Safety will also be replaced by Fundamentals of Safety and Defence of the Homeland.
Financial aid for students and pupils
Financial assistance received by university, technical-school and college students in need will be tax-free regardless of the amount.
Free passage for school buses
School buses will be able to use toll roads free of charge.
The rule will apply to buses carrying organised groups of children, for example to competitions, excursions or holiday camps.
Employer-sponsored education
Employer-sponsored education procedures will become transparent. In particular, all offers for sponsored study will be public. Every applicant will be able to find information on support during study, social guarantees and the employer with whom they will later sign an employment contract.
