The State Duma adopted a law simplifying employment for teenagers aged 14–18 at second and third readings.
Under current legislation, parents must spend time collecting 10–12 documents for guardianship authorities in order to employ a teenager.
The law therefore streamlines the collection of certificates and removes the need for guardianship-service approval for minors who have parents, retaining approval only for orphans and children without parental care.
Consent from one parent will suffice to conclude this employment contract.
The law stresses that teenagers may work only outside study hours. They may not be assigned work that could harm their health.
